For the past 9 years I have worked in IT at Syntell as the Application Support Technician, My present job involves various IT duties in person and by phone. I currently do the installs of application and support, manage databases, doing backup and restores and escallations of calls to the developer. I am a vibrant person who has always enjoyed working in a technical support enviroment and with a team.

For the past Nine years I have worked in IT at Syntell as the Field Support Technician(Application Support), My present job involves various IT duties in person and by phone. 

I also deal with: 

• Managing and constantly monitoring the continuous functioning of the LAN and WAN environment using the Health monitor application.
• To resolve LAN/WAN connectivity and providing network support & application maintenance in terms of installing latest update, load and configure desktop operating system, LPRS application, Java ,SQL Server 2008/12 R2 and other necessary tools to run applications.
• Configure mobile Multenet routers, Wifi Truteq routers,Teltronika routers and IP cctv cameras.
• Provide 1st Level (Troubleshooting & Logging calls), 2nd level (Remote Support) & 3rd Level (Field/Physical support) on the LPR application using Team Viewer and Remote Desktop Support tools.        .
• Provide training on the LPR applications for end-users. 

Before this job I was a trainee with Department of Health and Social Development as a Network Controller and completed

• Provide 1st Level (Troubleshooting & Logging calls), 2nd level (Remote Support) & 3rd Level (Field/Physical support)
• Managed and maintained the network infrastructure, server administration.
• Support desktop computers, printers and other peripheral computing devices.
• Provide network support and maintenance, load and configure desktop operating system, applications software and antivirus. 
• Provide support on transversal systems like BAS, SAP, Persal and PAAB.
• Managing and constantly monitoring the continuous functioning of the LAN and WAN and server environment, to resolve LAN & WAN connectivity.
• Performing backup and restore on the computers and have various Microsoft package experience.

I then Moved to Department of Justice & Constitutional Development and SITA where I continued working as a service desk analyst.
