Procurement and Logistics Officer
Minimum Requirements:
- Essential: Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Logistics.
- +5 years of experience in administrative, procurement, and logistics roles within the chemical industry.
- Essential: Sage
- Familiarity with the procurement of both bulk and specialty chemicals, including their packaging and transportation, while adhering to relevant safety regulations.
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage incoming telephone inquiries.
- Expedite orders and communicate lead times.
- Collect delivery notes for invoice processing.
- Maintain a register of quotes.
- Assist with the compilation of financial reports.
- Process received orders.
- Handle invoices and job processing.
- Compile and submit quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and meet with suppliers.
- Coordinate transport and deliveries with transportation companies.
- Liaise with sales engineers.
