Purpose of the role:
To generate new business and increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales.
Responsible for customer prospects through cold canvassing, following leads, analyses of market potential, business directories, client referrals, keeping abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
to be able to provide excellent customer service and to supply management with feedback on daily activities, such as daily prospecting reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses, thereby ensuring continuously improvement.
Accountable for achieve sales targets and outcomes as agreed upon with Sales manager, within schedule. resulting in top-line revenue growth and profitability.Action weekly prospect plan:
- Agree with Branch / Sales Manager the weekly prospect plan
- Actively do cold canvasing at companies identified as focus areas
- Sell the Company's loan service to new customers
- Obtain required/agreed number of leads per day
- Provide a minimum of 1 approved customer per day
- Achieve a minimum of 15 prospected leads per day
Record Keeping:
- Maintain record of assessed and qualified clients
- Maintain prospecting diary as per Company Training Manual (Sales section)
Sales Training:
- Attend training as and when required and agreed with Sales Manager.
Product knowledge:
- Ensure a thorough understanding of all the products offered by the company.
Customer Care:
- Manage all customers in terms of Company values 'From Our Family to Yours'.
Branch Participation
- Participate in all related branch meetings
- Assist BM and Sales Manager with monthly instore promotions
- Record prospecting leads on Prospecting Sheet
- Followup on all leads including 'revived' older than 12 months

Experience:
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
