Competent, motivated, disciplined and positive team
Effective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives
Effective stakeholder engagement
Engineering installations are construction according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
Engineering equipment in maintained according to agreed standards, procedures and schedules
Compliance with SHEQ, MRC and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols

Minimum requirements- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent

Section 26 Recognised/Equivalent Trade Certificate
Mine based technical certifications (e.g. Basic Hydraulics and Basic Rigging <3ton
Engineering Foreman Certificate of competence or proof of formal Supervisory training in planning, leading, organising, and control
MS Office Proficient (Word & Excel)
Valid EB Driver's license
Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
5 years' or more mining industry experience (underground and surface)
At least 5 years' practical experience as a appointed Artisan, appointed in a legal position
At least 2 years' experience acting on a supervisory level as an Engineering Foreman
Medically fit to work underground
