Description

A pioneering company within the manufacturing industry is looking for a CA(SA) to join their decades-old, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable business.

Review trial balance and balance sheet general ledger accounts and recons before month-end close

Ensure all SARS deadlines are met timeously

Coordinate and consolidate income statements, balance sheet, and cash flow budget

Draft policies or recommend changes to improve policies

Authorise payments, review supplier recons and complete all accruals

Review VAT and payroll returns

Prepare overhead and annual budget per company

Approve all journals to ensure validity and accuracy

Compile and issue financial results pack with commentary

Update costings for forecasting and annual budgeting requirements

Prepare annual, monthly, daily and weekly cash flow forecast

Liaise with auditors

Prepare annual tax and provisional tax

Liaise with shipping agents to ensure import orders are correctly scheduled

Monthly review of actual costs versus budgeted/forecasted costs

Oversee and maintain fixed asset register

Ensure adequate cash planning

Maintain accurate costing

Ad hoc duties as requested


Skills & Experience:

ERP system experience advantageous

Costing or Manufacturing experience beneficial

Team player with great multitasking skills


Qualification:

CA(SA)

OR

Eligible to register CA(SA)

OR

AGA(SA) awaiting APC results
