Description
Hangar49 is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join the team.The Sales Operations Manager oversees and manages the operational aspects of the sales/customer success department to ensure smooth functioning, increased productivity, and attainment of sales targets.
They collaborate with various teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT, to streamline processes, implement strategies, and leverage technology to maximize sales efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Develop and refine sales/customer success processes to improve efficiency, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement sales strategies, including territory planning, quota setting, and sales forecasting
Sales Tools and Systems:
Evaluate, implement, and optimize sales/customer success tools (CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, etc.) to support the sales/customer success teams effectiveness and productivity.
Training and Development:
Coordinate and provide training programs for the sales/customer success team on new tools, processes, and best practices to enhance their skills and performance
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as conversion rates, pipeline health, and sales metrics. Identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures. Monitor customer health metrics, usage patterns, and feedback to proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments like marketing, finance, and IT to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategies, campaigns, and operational improvements
Forecasting and Budgeting:
Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting processes, providing insights and data to support accurate predictions and resource allocation
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain documentation of sales processes, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of Customer Success Managers and Sales Developers. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to ensure high performance and achievement of goals.
- Issue Resolution and Escalation: Address and resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5 years+) in sales operations, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
