Branch Manager based in Nelspruit (Mpumalanga).

Requirements:

Matric / Standard 10 / grade 1
Minimum 5 years of Branch Manager / Sales experience within the road freight sector.
Proven sales track record in the road freight industry.
Sales driven / target driven.
Excellent organisational skills to manage a consistent sales pipeline.
Communication skills and telephone etiquette.
Selfmotivated and committed individual to meet monthly targets.
Technical Competence.
Customer Service Driven.
Valid drivers license.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

Strategically plan and manage logistics.
Regularly inspect warehouse for goods on floor.
Instruct drivers on daily duties.
Monitor Proof or Deliveries and Cash on Delivery documentation.
Attend to transportation requests and customer services.
Direct, optimize and coordinate deliveries.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and partners.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Meet all performance standards.
Monitor fuel use.
Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
