Requirements:


  • Grade 1 5 years' Experience in media and agency sales.
  • Proven track record of sales performance and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Meet and exceed sales revenue budgets.

Key Responsibility:


  • Retain and grow revenue on a designated portfolio of advertising clients and agencies.
  • Actively seek out and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Actively develop and present relevant opportunities to the advertising agency and advertiser.
  • Actively engage all available datapoints/touchpoints/information platforms to ensure solutions and market conversations remain relevant and impactful.
  • Efficient management of sales process.
  • Prospect/cold canvas potential advertisers and build personal portfolio of clients, secure new business.
  • Follow up leads that are distributed by the company and record these on the CRM system, obtain appointments.
  • Set up appointments with new and existing clients, minimum of 25 appointments per month.
  • Meet own monthly sales targets.
  • Weekly prospecting and ensure conversion to sales.
  • Sells availably advertising time according to the Sales Policy to ensure that income requirements are met and value contributions to clients are ensured and measured.
  • Promote long term relationships with existing clients.
  • Achieve the agreed upon weekly rate.
  • Product Development and Campaign Management.
  • Prepares and documents written proposals and/ or presentations used during the sales process.
  • Prepare accurate airtime schedules.
  • Ensure all booking documentation documentation is completed.
  • Source, compile and facilitate all traffic material.
  • Prepare completed briefing documents to all stakeholders/departments.
  • Track and monitor campaigns from start to finish.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:


  • Media and
Agency Sales: 5 years (preferred)
