PURPOSE OF THE POSITION


Ensure that the correct stock is issued, packed and shipped to the relevant customer timeously, while adhering to all legal and contractual obligations.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Daily, monthly and quarterly reporting to Treasury and Fabrication Departments.
  • Support the precious metal dealers, Logistics function, FSD and Security personnel.
  • Adhere to regulations as stipulated by the SACAA and EU ACC
  • Provide daily accurate stock control reports between SAP and physical stock.
  • Stock balancing and logistic activities.
  • Check stock and enter correct amounts daily onto MS Excel for printing purposes.
  • All shipping documentation clear and meets ACAA and other regulations.
  • Drive timeous and accurate reporting, together with recommended action plans to Plant management studies and projects assigned to the department regarding any and all aspects of the plant operation.
  • Drive projects in order to ensure OEE deliverables, which includes continuous improvement projects to improve OEE indices.
  • Ensure that GMP (Good manufacturing practices) encompassing food safety (HACCP) and sanitation standards are adhered to.
  • Comply with and ensure that all health and safety rules are met and act proactively by addressing any safety concerns which may be harmful to self or other employees.
  • Physically count of coins and Kruger rands to ensure the amounts are correct.
  • System checks and reports — Check that all documentation received is confirmed on the system,
  • Physically pack all the big bars into relevant boxes, which have been marked and strapped correctly for release and shipment.
  • Accuracy of packing and checking — check the bar numbers, weights, assays, quality and box numbers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A completed Matric qualification.
  • A completed Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Finance, or any related qualification.
  • Must have at least acquired 5 years of working experience from Supply Chain/ Logistics Management related positions.
SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

  • Computer proficiency — MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint), SAP, SharePoint, Educos and IsoMetrix.
