Description
Execute project work in accordance to established policy and procedures- Drawing up draft P&IDs for new and existing systems
- Knowledge of SAP is critical
- Assist with creation and closure of Permit to Work
- Ensure contractor financials are in accordance with financial department
- As part of continuous improvement and changing business needs, develop new Proposals for the plant
- Assist in the creation and closure of CAPEX
- Conduct plant handover for capital and noncapital modifications prior to plant start up and shut down
- Check all equipment prior to plant start up
- Ensure compliance to MOC procedure
- Conduct goods receipting, placing of orders, updating of PSM leading and lagging indicators and the provision of continuous project updates
- Ensure all HAZOPs and Risk Assessments are conducted and respective actions are closedout.
- Ensure Mod Prop documents are filled in correctly and is signed off by Site Manager and correctly filed
- Manage utilities daily consumptions and provide effective project administration.
- Ensure that all project information (i.e. drawings, quotations, etc) are correctly filed
- Ensure that all safety standards are maintained, report Near Misses and unsafe conditions
- Conduct PJOs on contractors and assist on incident investigations
- Ensure correct storage of equipment and proper demarcating of areas of work.
- Liaise with Production and Contractors on progress of Projects and necessary requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 1
- Experience in Projects Work (min 13 years).
- Minimum of a National Diploma (Mech/Chem Eng).
