A well-known retail technology company is on the lookout for a skilled, junior mid-weight Social Media Specialist to join their Marketing team in this hybrid role based in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs.

This super position will give you the opportunity to create engaging B2B and B2C Social Media Content and strategies while strictly keeping to the company's brand guidelines.

The company is active on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter so proficiency in these platforms is a must.

You'll be handling smaller paid campaigns so extensive/big budget experience is not necessary, but you will be handling some great campaigns off the bat.

How exciting is that? You will work alongside an agency on bigger campaigns.

We're looking for someone who has experience with organic and some paid Social Media Marketing.

This includes creation of content calendars and reels/carousels/stories, scheduling of content, community management, analytics/reporting as well as planning and implementation of paid campaigns.

Experience with SEO, PPC advertising, Google search and Google Shopping campaigns is advantageous.

Requirements:

Industry relevant qualifications
You should have 2+ years in a similar role.
Proven experience in effective paid campaigns.
Selfmanagement is important, you must be able to work exceptionally well remotely as this is a hybrid role and handle deadlines.
Proficiency in management of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn) and the Mac operating system.
Skilled and proficient in the use of social advertising tools (Meta, various platform tools)
AdWords, Google Ads, SEO, DSP & SSP, Tracking and verification tools advantageous
Proactive and selfdisciplined with a strong sense of responsibility.
Proficient on Canva and or Photoshop.
Use analytics tools to report on the success of campaigns.
