Description

Responsibilities:


  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other têxtiles according to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Inspect linens and têxtiles for stains, tears, and other damages before and after laundering.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including keeping laundry supplies stocked and storage areas tidy.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms and other hotel departments.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hazardfree work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
