Description
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 5 years active working experience as a Senior Design Draughtsman
- Minimum 5 years active working experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication (workshop experience)
- Diploma in Mechanical Draughting
- Technical competence using the following Software:
- Autodesk Inventor
- 3D Skeleton modelling
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Autodesk Vault
- Navisworks Manager / Freedom
- Revit (will be an added advantage)
- TeamViewer for remote working
- High attention to detail
- Experience in the mining industry will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Design Draughtsman:
- Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing
- Communicate with the Design Engineers
- Give feedback on drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager
- Create 3D parametric models using
SKELETON MODELING: - To produce the most accurate, correct and neat drawings
- Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings
