Requirements:


As part of a major growth strategy, a component and sub-system supplier to the international satellite market is seeking a Project Co-ordinator to join our growing project team.

In this role you will be responsible for organizing and managing key aspects of the Project Management Office (PMO) team's deliverables.

This individual will be an instrumental component in ensuring new and on-going projects remain on track and meet customer milestones.

The ability to communicate, document, and escalate roadblocks in the project lifecycle, will be fundamental to your success in this role.


Key Tasks:


  • Work with your supervisor to create and update project plans at various stages of the project
  • Help compile project status reports on a regular cadence and maintain upto date project schedules
  • Take notes during project meetings with project team, internal departments, and customers
  • Ensure all project phases are documented appropriately
  • Followup and send deadline reminders to team members when targets are approaching
  • Work with Senior project manager on prioritization and actionable items
  • Work closely with the supervisor to assign tasks to project team
  • Identify opportunities for feedback and share the information with your team
  • Support Senior Management in process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and update process documents including project checklists
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive standardized project documentation, plans and report templates
  • Evaluating customer change request that impact project scope and escalate to Project Manager
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other internal delivery teams to oversee the delivery of activities and product to clients including the management of risk, key decisions, and issues
  • Maintain and update process documents including project checklists
  • Prepare agendas, attend meetings, and take the minutes of meetings
  • Manage and coordinate logistics for testing being performed at external facilities, ensuring all perquisites to support test have been fulfilled
  • Perform ERP data entry in support of procurement activities across multiple departments
  • Other adhoc duties as required by the company

Prerequisites

Qualifications & Experience:


Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience & Knowledge:


  • 3 + years of work experience in a project administrative/coordinator capacity
  • Experience working for a technology or manufacturing company is preferred
  • MS Project working experience
  • Syspro experience will be an advantage

  • Strong computer skills are essential
  • Proven consistent record of completing projects on time and accomplishing goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate flexibility as well as excellent organization and multitasking skill
  • Display proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Projects
  • Positive professional attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Problem analysis and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround.
  • Ability to function independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in fastpaced environment
