Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of software developers, service providers, and support staff
Analyse, design, and develop new features, plugins, and bug fixes to enhance the quality of customers' experience
Ensure ontime deployment of all website activities and updates, including timely platform upgrades and security patches
Implement, optimize, and manage SDLC and DevOps processes
Review time estimates from solution providers and challenge them where necessary
Escalate issues to management that can/are affecting ontime/onbudget delivery
Ensure solution quality and effective delivery of solution to the business
Ensure updated system documentation is maintained
Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the eCommerce organization for cross functional partners acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce initiatives
Contribute to the development of the IT strategy and implementation of IT governance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant qualification
5+ years' experience as a Software Development Manager with experience working in distributed teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum & Kanban
At least 5 years' handson development experience using C# with ASP.Net Web API using SQL and JavaScript using AngularJS within a multitier architecture
Proficiency in management of API economy and digital platforms, with working knowledge of REST, SOAP, Web Services, Microservices, and Containers
Wellversed in implementation, optimization, and management of DevOps processes with proficiency in cybersecurity controls, and frameworks, as they relate to eCommerce and development, especially OWASP
Strong C#,.Net Core, MS SQL, and Object Oriented development knowledge is essential
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to effectively manage dev teams
Strategic thinker with creative problemsolving skills who is able to meet timesensitive deadlines and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Strong organizational and analytical skills; interpersonal effectiveness; and attention to detail
This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead the E-Commerce, Integrations, and Business Intelligence Development divisions of a fastpaced internal IT team.
