Description

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

Interprets customer drawings and samples, assessing whether all the information is available to create what the customer is looking for.

Use relevant tools to extract the required information to draw the part.

Creates vector drawings in the format required for laser cutting.

Assist colleagues and customers with queries relating to part drawings.

Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards

Recommends solutions to solve the issues that are found.

Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Preparation of customer drawing before production

Provides advice on what can be achieved by Laser and Bending

Run sample jobs-ensure first offs are correct before the job is cut

Control sample notes

Know what the job looks like before you started the job and at least one after

Able to manage strict deadlines

Education / Qualifications:

Matric or Senior Certification equivalent

Certificate / Diploma (Drawing / Draughting)

Computer Software:
MS Office & CAD Drawing (2D and 3D), Solidworks & AutoCAD

Minimum of - 5 years' experience within a similar role

Skills:

Proficient at multi-tasking and attention to detail with high levels of accuracy

Ability to plan, organise, problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to interact and work on different levels (be a team player)

Technically Minded

Strong time management skills

Attention to detail

Works well under pressure

Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month
