Job Purpose

To translate AML strategy and initiatives into distinctive delivery requirements leveraging enterprise capability and facilitate changes across all group stakeholders and manage prioritisation and associated tradeoffs

Responsibilities:

Engage with stakeholders in order to map AML, CFT, PF and sanctions requirements to the existing/new technology and data execution streams.
Provide input and requisite support into requirements, prioritisation and implementation.
Provide support for programme planning.
Review design proposals with AML SMEs to evaluate whether AML requirements are met.
Responsible for staff and stakeholder engagement to identify issues including providing business support.
Internal engagement via Subject Matter experts to prioritise improvements or requirements.
Coordinate crossfunctional activities to enhance client and staff experience.
Support the implementation of innovative solutions and continuous improvements to ensure competitive advantage for the Group.
Stay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth.
Ensure alignment to governance, risk and compliance requirements in consultation with AML SMES.
Foster and enable AML CFT and sanctions innovation increasing the value add of the function through breakthrough digital automation.
Identify innovative trends that could enhance the valueadd of the function.
Monitor key expectations of stakeholders internal/external and build long term relationships to ensure a collaborative partnership.

Essential Qualifications

NQF Level
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Professional Qualifications/Honour's Degree

Preferred Qualification

Risk Management Degree
AML / Compliance qualification
Minimum Experience Level years broad ranging integrated experience across retail banking Business Operations specifically with regards to AML CFT and sanctions, Product Management, Process Management, Managing product delivery, Systems & Data and Value Analytics
