Customer Service Representative - Johannesburg, South Africa - Mayfly Agri (Pty) Ltd
Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a Diploma/Degree in Customer Service or supply chain management or any other related field.
- Knowledge of sales order processing and distribution preferably in the agricultural industry will be required.
- Must be computer literate SharePoint, MS Excel & Word essential with SAP an advantage
- An understanding of INCOTERMS and Customs documentation would be preferred
- Must be able to work under pressure, especially in peak seasons, with great attention to detail
- Must be customer service oriented with a strong command of English (both written and spoken).
- Communicating with Credit department on credit status of customer accounts
- Providing customer feedback and handling complaints
- Participating in Sales and Operations meetings for planning of sales.
- Preparing purchase requisitions for the department and following up on the creation of purchase orders.
- Participating in financial and nonfinancial audits, including stock takes and providing required documentation.
- Receiving incoming shipments.
- Liaising with Import / Export Governance to ensure Letters of Authority (LOAs) and Import Permits are updated.
- Completing required forms and sharing these documents with Logistics and the Customs Broker.
- Booking couriers for collection and delivery of orders.
