Estimator / Sales Support - Freight Forwarding
Location:
Durban
Requirements:
- Grade 1
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding and Clearing essential
- Knowledge of all transport modes air, road, sea
- Sound knowledge of Incoterms 2010
- Knowledge of customs tariffs and port charges
- Advanced computer literacy
- Able to work under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all client estimates and prospect estimates are accurately done
- Compile estimates according to client and agent requirements for all transport modes both imports and exports
- Ensure that the estimate charges correspond to client rates
- Negotiate rates with 3rd parties
- Sales support
