BRANCH MANAGER

Freight Industry

Cape Town

Broad Purpose / Function:


A national company specialising in Road & Air Freight is looking for a branch manager for their Cape Town branch.

You will be responsible for the planning, leading, organizing, and controlling of the branch.


The implementation of strategies to innovate and grow the business in CPT to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue targets.

To develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to further develop business opportunities.

To implement cost control strategies to ensure the achievement of budgeted targets.

To manage the administrative, operational, and human resources management disciplines within the branch.


Job Requirements:

- + 10 Years of freight industry experience.

  • 57 Years branch manager experience
  • 35 Years of sales experience (or managing a sales department)


  • Grade 1

  • Diploma/ Degree in transport and logistics advantageous
  • Driver's license is compulsory
  • Fully computer literate
  • Sound knowledge of loading and offloading principles.
  • Understanding safe workplace practices and requirements
  • Administration and organizational skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
  • Sound knowledge of the Cape Metro area
  • Must be a team player and adapt to change easily
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (proficient in English & Afrikaans)

Salary:
R50,000.00 per month
