Are you an experienced and dedicated professional with a passion for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment? If so, we invite you to join our client's team as the Executive Housekeeper at a prestigious 5-star Hotel nestled in the heart of the captivating North West Province.


Position Overview:


As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetics throughout the Hotel.

Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong leadership abilities will play a crucial role in maintaining the Hotel's reputation for excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures, policies, and standards to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry personnel, and public area cleaners.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies, ensuring proper storage and efficient usage.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Manage the scheduling of housekeeping staff to meet operational requirements while optimizing labour costs.
  • Oversee the coordination of laundry operations, including linen management and uniform distribution.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Uphold environmental sustainability practices by implementing energyefficient and ecofriendly initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar role in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of housekeeping operations, including cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and interact with guests.
  • Proficiency in using housekeeping management software, Opera and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
