Role Responsibilities:

Leading and mentoring a team of DevOps Engineers.

Managing source control, build/CI and QA test systems.

Following defined processes for workflow, incident and change management.

Troubleshooting components of systems relying on proven techniques for IT systems analysis and evaluation.

Being involved in incident and problem management processes.

Implementing effective troubleshooting techniques.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies and techniques.

Working with cloud-native architectures, including PVT cloud PaaS / IaaS, microservice architectures and APIs.

Utilising strong relationship building, persuasion and collaboration skills to drive internal and cross-team constructive feedback and support.

Utilising monitoring technologies and APM tools.

Managing and maintaining HA solutions and DRP environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Azure certification preferred.

Relevant Skills / Experience:

5 years' experience in a similar role.

2+ years experience as a Team Lead / managing resources.

5 years' experience developing, deploying and / or administering infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

5 years' experience with database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

5 years' experience and knowledge of IP networks and related solutions.

5 years working experience in complex IT operational environments in various aspects of design, engineering, analysis and testing and ongoing support for their technical area.

3 years' experience in configuration management and automation (Terraform/ARM).

3 years' experience with programming and scripting languages such as Ruby, Python or PHP.

Experience of current and emerging virtualization, infrastructure, cloud and container technologies such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes etc.

Knowledge and experience of Web services, SOAP and RESTful interfaces and XML.

Experience working with Azure DevOps pipeline preferred.
