Compliance to SHEQ standards, regulations and practices.

Adhere to PPE requirements.
Conduct safe behavioural observations.
Attending and leading safety meetings.
Participate in SHEQ campaigns.
Receive operational handover from previous shift.
Analyse information from handover report.
Communication of operational functions to operational staff on a shift basis.
Ongoingly liaise with operational staff to determine the status of operation.
Perform handover to the next shift.
Receival of data and information from operational teams.
Compare data and information for consistency.
Capturing of data and information on an information system.
Ongoing maintenance of database.
Compilation of production sheets for communication.
Constantly liaise with operational teams during the shift.
Advise operational teams on functions and assignments.
Communicate unsafe working conditions and safety incidents.
Liaise with maintenance crews for installations, repairs and breakdowns.
NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 Certificate)
Metalliferous Mining Blasting Certificate
Shift Supervisor certificate of competence will be advantageous
Minimum Three (3) years experience as a miner (inclusive of excellent safety and production results)
Acting exposure as a Shiftboss will be advantageousliterate (Microsoft Office Package)
Ability to read and write English and communicate with people on different levels
Valid Certificate of physical fitness
Driver's license
