Description

Be responsible for efficiently and safely relocating furniture and other household items from one location to another.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the proper handling, loading, and unloading of furniture while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation:
Safely load, transport, and unload furniture and other items between locations using appropriate equipment and techniques.

Packing and Wrapping:
Properly pack and wrap furniture to prevent damage during transportation.

Assembly and Disassembly:
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of furniture as needed.

Customer Service:

Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the moving process.

Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of items moved and their condition, ensuring accountability and proper documentation.

Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during the moving process.

Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a team to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience in furniture moving or a related field preferred.

Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy furniture.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable).

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions:

The job involves physical labour and may require working in various weather conditions. Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work weekends and evenings may be required.
