Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to join the Camperdown, Pietermaritzburg team,

  • Ensure that a daily maintenance plan is put into place
  • Ensure that equipment and tools are kept in good working order,
  • Ensure that all breakdowns and materials used in the breakdowns are recorded,
  • Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to as soon as they are reported,
  • Conduct routine checks in the plant,
  • Control the cost of consumables and maintenance,
  • Ensure that a monthly stock take is conducted,
  • Ensure that all modifications to the plant and any repairs that are outsourced are supported by accurate drawings and specs with every project.
  • Ensure all staff reporting to you are aware of their responsibilities and duties.

Requirements:



  • Grade 1

  • Trade Tested Fitter '
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience,
  • Supervisory experience essential
  • Must be able to weld and do some rigging,
  • Sound knowledge of electrical systems,
  • Proficient in MS Office,
  • Valid drivers and forklift license,
