Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
The Automotive Technical Trainer (Gasoline) will be responsible for the following duties:
- Implementation of Bosch Technical Training concepts thereby ensuring the repair on all products and systems are carried out in accordance with Bosch's high technical repair standards.
- Use Bosch given information, such as ESI, etc., in addition to researched material to update and improve course content.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are applied and maintained in STC.
- Prepare course documentation and other printed materials for students.
- Planning and coordination of technical training activities within the assigned countries (including creating & maintaining of TTT and technical training courses).
- Achievement of qualitative Training related targets of Bosch Service Network (BSQM), i.e., training attendance & turnover, quality of course presentations (CSI).
- Ensure Theory and Practical rooms are properly equipped, maintained in an orderly state and ready for courses.
- Provide practical workshop test equipment demonstrations in conjunction with Bosch test equipment and training models.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- Matric / Equivalent
- Mechanical Engineering, related Trade or similar qualification
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
- At least 35 years of experience in technical training or similar role
- Experience in creating and delivering training content
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in the local language and English
