An exciting opportunity has become available for a Logistics Administrator to join a Shipping team

This function will include a variety of administrative and departmental finance activities.


Requirements:


  • Grade 1
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant commercial experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Sage Evolution experience advantageous
  • Ability to accurately and swiftly process transactions
  • Can work independently
  • Possess a followup and followthrough mentality
  • Own transport and valid drivers license advantageous

Duties

  • Full execution of sales activities (local market)
  • Manage consignment stock warehouse
  • Effectively communicate with local customer and/or distributor
  • Support to local sales representative
  • Provide support to Shipping Administrators (international market)
  • Parttime logistics administrator (international market)
  • Transshipment update (international market)
  • Rate requests (international market)
  • Document checking
  • Basic departmental finance activities (including purchase order & shipment invoice reviews)
  • Maintain and create SOP's
  • Participate in analyses exercises / projects

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R15 000,00 - R22 000,00 per month


Education:


  • High School (matric) (preferred)

Experience:

Logistics Administration: 5 years (preferred)
Sage Evolution: 2 years (preferred)


Ability to Commute:

  • Muizenberg, Western Cape (required)
