1. JOB PURPOSE**Ensure that the correct Part number / Serial number is picked or binned against respective system transactions

- Comply with business system policies and procedures and ensure that such are enforced and adhered to.
- Maintain a tidy, neat and structured working environment which complies with occupational health standards.
- Check Minimum Stock level prior to placing orders and avoid overstocking at all times
- Ensure that parts are stored and packed, complying with the stores standards, policies and procedures
- Ensure that the correct Part number / Serial number is picked or binned against respective system transactions

The Storeman is responsible for the following:

- Maintain a tidy, neat and structured working environment which complies with occupational health standards.
- Maintain accurate records of issues to Technicians, staff and suppliers.
- At all times, treat technicians and branches as your "clients" and achieve best turn-around times for all spares requests and orders.
- Treat suppliers respectfully and maintain a healthy and professional relationship.
- Comply with business system policies and procedures and ensure that such are enforced and adhered to.
- Keep all stores (Main Store/Black Store/Oil Store/Tyre Store) access restricted, tidy and structured
- Ensure a logical bin location numbering process for different spares types and categories and picking rates.
- Ensure that parts are stored and packed, complying with the stores standards, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the correct Part number / Serial number is picked or binned against respective system transactions.
- Ensure that tags accompany all Repaired Parts returned to stores.
- Give information to Procurement Manager on items with expired cure dates or long standing and physically remove such from the warehouse.
a. Emergency requisition requests must be addressed within 30 min of the logged request.
b. Branch stock requests must be physically picked and packed every Tuesday and Thursday
c. Normal requisitions must be addressed by the deadline date of the requisition.
- Spot counts on stock been picked to be done at all times
- Ensure all tools are booked out in Tool Register and booked back on a daily basis.
- Monthly Stock counts to be done on all stores and Vehicles from Field service.
- Regularly address all exceptions and manage such accordingly
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports to Procurement Manager.
