Description
Primary responsibility is planning production output requirements against customer and stock demand

  • Ensure the correct issuing and communication of daily shift plans & work tickets to workstations
  • Communicate weekly plans to management, supervisors and support functions
  • Monitor customer orders
  • Communicate orders to the production floor and sales
  • Monitor performance with production manager against productivity standards
  • Compile production reports with unit sales demands, production output, and schedule adherence data
  • Monitor and update the business on daily progress, check work schedules, discuss and agree adjustments, to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage and coordinate the production administration processes and information flow and filing in Production
  • Identify production constraints and propose alternatives and action plans in collaboration with the production team and communicate to stakeholders
  • Highlight and resolve short term exception priorities between production and demand
  • Results driven, Energetic, Bias for action, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Selfmotivated and accountable
  • Organised and admin orientated
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, constraints, capacities and equipment

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R16, R18,000.00 per month


Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:

Production Planning: 3 years (required)
Microsoft Excel: 3 years (required)
