Programme Manager Cape Town


An exciting opportunity has become available within the Construction Services industry, for a Professional PM/Programme Manager with our client based in Cape Town.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Professional Registered Project Manager (PrCMP) or PMSA is
    essential:
  • In-depth experience in construction
  • Construction Project Management experience essential
  • Experience in administration and in financial administration.
  • JBCC and NEC contracts.
  • Fluent in AFRIKAANS
    essential

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • This role is in essence a Junior Programme Manager role
  • Assisting the with managing, administering and monitoring the delivery of various projects from inception to close out as well as supporting contractors to successfully deliver these projects
  • Construction Support Management on Capital and Maintenance Projects
  • Lead, manage and oversee the Programmes by:
  • Communicating with Suppliers, consultants and principle agents
  • Assisting in drafting reports
  • Ensuring that reporting deadlines are met and adhered to
  • General Management
  • Driving and influencing team, clearly setting goals, monitoring performance and progress regularly against target goals.
  • Take the lead in working with a variety of influential internal and external, company stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
  • Provide guidance to the team.
  • Fostering an environment of cooperation, communication and customer service
  • Developing and encouraging teamwork and learning.

Main KPI's

Programme management

  • Managing the administration of the payment certificate pack and all PSPs invoices.
  • Completed according to timelines.
  • Ensure that all the fields are completed correctly, the calculations are correct as well as necessary signatures are present.
  • Ensure that the correct procedure is followed and submitted to the relevant department.
  • Record Management ensure that all documentation is scanned and filed correctly.
  • Ad Hoc Assistance with financial document preparation.

Monitoring and reporting on the performance of
the Programme

  • Responsible for the administration with regards to the Bid Adjudication Committee Meetings
  • Administration of the bids in terms of pricing and BEE.
  • Minutes are issued to appoint service providers.
  • Ensure Administration with regards to the packs are minuted correctly and that the
- recommendation documents are completed correctly.


Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the programme in respect of time and cost

  • Updating Biz Projects in terms of stages of project updates from Project Managers / Customer
Support Managers

  • Administration and Record keeping of financial information with regards to the certificate payment packs and BAC Meetings.
  • Record keeping of all project related documentation.
  • Ensuring that protocols and processes are followed.
