Group Operations Manager Sandton for Hotel & Lodge Group - SA Citizens with Hotel Operations exp, in-person interview in Sandton ONLY

Experienced Hotel Group operations manager needed for about 12 properties in SA.
SA Citizens with a CLEAR CRIM & CREDIT RECORD

5 Star Hotel Operations experience essential

  • 5 years minimum experience in LODGE OPERATIONS in a GENERAL MANAGEMENT position at 5 star Game Lodges.
  • Matric
  • Good command of the English language
  • Friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet
  • Wellspoken and presentable individual
  • Strong leader who has been in charge of employees before
  • Formal hospitality degree/diploma preferable
  • Responsible for the management of the above mentioned properties within Extraordinary portfolio
  • Implementation and management of standards in the properties
  • Implementation of service and product initiatives
  • Will be required to travel frequently to properties based in South Africa
  • Effective leadership & management skills
  • Plan and manage lodge operations effectively
  • Drive the broader goals of the group as agreed with the General Manager
  • Knowledge of OPERA PMS, NEBULA & Apex Systems beneficial
  • Knowledge of Game Reserve Operations required
  • Computer literate
  • Able to handle pressure & difficult situations if required
  • Able to multi task & deliver as required in accordance with company standards
  • Adherence to all company practices
  • Leading, training and motivating the team
  • Drive the lodge's quality plan and implement all required standards

Salary:
From R40,000.00 per month
