Description

Duties include but will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Formulating strategic and operational objectives
  • Examining financial data and using them to improve profitability
  • Performing quality controls and monitoring production KPIs
  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff
  • Finding ways to increase quality of customer service
  • Communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
  • Planning and reviewing compensation actions
  • Contributing operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Preparing and completing action plans
  • Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customerservice standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends
  • Forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions
  • Developing operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements
  • Developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures
  • Developing processes for receiving products etc.

Requirements:


  • Relevant tertiary degree (B Comm/Business Management/LLB)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a financial services institution
  • Extensive experience in credit industry in South Africa
  • Full understanding of the National Credit Act and related Acts
  • Full understanding of the endtoend loan origination process
  • Experience in setting incentives and promotions
