As a member of the shopper team, this position needs to ensure that all shopper initiatives integrate and align with various category and brand strategies with a seamless approach to the brand experience.


A high level of attention to detail and organisation skills as well as collaboration and stakeholder management are essential to this role to drive alignment across key stakeholders.


Requirements:


  • 4 Years' postdegree experience
  • 2 Years shopper or trade marketing experience within an FMCG organisation
  • Trade Marketing, Sales or Marketing experience within an FMCG organisation is required
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Administration or Sales
  • Postgraduate specialisation in Marketing, Business or Sales is preferable
  • Solid capability to develop aligned shopper strategies and plans and drive seamless execution
  • Shopper Journey and Point of Purchase behaviour and implications for branding and packaging
  • Be able to develop ROI objectives and track performance of shopper campaign versus identified objectives / ROI
  • Understanding of trade channels and Key Accounts in South Africa
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen with the ability to pull market shares, store lists and distribution data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office ability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
