Legal and Compliance Lead Midrand Gauteng
Are you an admitted attorney, our international client is looking for a Legal & Compliance Lead in Midrand Gauteng.

Your legal and effective legal advice & support across all areas of the business, including contracts, joint ventures, acquisitions/disposals and disputes would be highly rated.

Experience in compliance, including competition law and anti-bribery, AML.

Salary NEG - Highly

Min Requirement

LLB Degree or similar Law related Degree.
Must be an admitted attorney or advocate of the Bar (nonnegotiable)
A postgraduate diploma/certificate or master's degree in law or business is highly desirable
5+ years' postadmission experience in a reputable legal firm
5+ Experience in a similar role as the inhouse legal department of a multinational corporate

Responsibilities

Providing highquality legal and related advice/analysis on all areas of company business.
Drafting, interpreting, and negotiating company contracts, letters, filings, and other documentation.
Ensuring implementation and adherence of all relevant Company policies (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Data Compliance, Anti-MoneyLaundering, Antitrust, and Social Compliance etc.)
Coordinating the implementation and maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System for all relevant areas in accordance with corporate requirements and local laws and regulations.
