    Description

    RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Shift Millwright to join our client's team. As a Shift Millwright, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment during different shifts. You will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
    • Repair or replace defective parts
    • Conduct preventive maintenance activities
    • Collaborate with the production team to ensure optimal machine performance
    • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities

    Requirements

    • N2 with Mathematics and Science
    • Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright
    • Minimum of 3 years of plant experience as a qualified millwright.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
