- ssist the plant launch manager to develop a preliminary training and staffing plan to support Product Cost Studies prior to PA (Staff LPWR organization supports prior to the plant leader being placed). D
- evelop a comprehensive training strategy, to ensure workforce is prepared for the upcoming launch. I
- nclude training for new product and technology related to processes, facility, tooling & equipment. W
- ork in coordination with other personnel to implement. E
- nsure Product Specialist Group (PSG) and Tooling and Equipment Group (LSTS) Group Programs are in place to support the launch. o

  • Support launch management team and staff organizations in developing staffing plans and training budgets for plant launch team C
- ommunicate roles & responsibilities of the PSGs and LSTS' to OCM, union leadership and area management I
- nterface with HR, Union(s), and operations management to implement selection criterion, process, and requirement dates P
- repare PSGs & LSTS' for their new role in launch by following established PSG & LSTS training programs I
- mplement, assess and report all launch training and follow VO & PTO related launch tasks and deliverables (LQOS Tasks 116 & 203 and Plan for Every Person (PFEP), respectively). A
- ssist the plant launch manager and the area leaders to develop and implement a robust launch plan and support project management as required. P
- rovide process leadership to the plant team through the use of established training standards and models. C
- onduct training needs analysis for the new launch programs for vehicle operations by involving all stakeholder affected by the program D
- etermine staffing requirements for the new launch program D
- evelop recruitment/staffing plan to support new model launch requirements D
- etermine new facility and equipment requirements as per new model launch D
- etermine new technology requirements for the new model launch D
- evelop LPWR Master schedule for the new model launch D
- evelop launch training plans for all groups affected by the new model launch D
- evelop launch training tracking templates to be utilized to track all launch training activities T
- rack, monitor and report on all launch training interventions to all stakeholders P
- lan and prepare static training and facilities to deliver static training for the new model launch S
- chedule FPS training requirements to support new model launch S
- chedule and communicate all training activities for the new model launch to all stakeholders C
- ompile training records and reports for the new model launch and report the progress of training to all stakeholders P
- lan, track and monitor dynamic launch training M
- onitor and report on station readiness during the various launch build milestones P
- lan, track, monitor and report versatility training as per LQOS standard A
- ttend and participate during the lead plant TT builds events P
- rovide support for the follow-up plant training requirements and during TT build events D
- etermine training requirements during the launch phases to improve quality of the new model launch E
- valuate training impact on the business C
