To lead, develop, advise on and support the implementation of the Warehouse strategy and support the implementation of business plans to deliver the strategic priorities of long-term growth opportunities, leveraging scale and building fundamental process, system and people capabilities for national operations

Key Functions

Develop a warehouse strategy and business plan nationally; based on diagnosis, analysis, insight, expertise and warehouse principles.
Develop and lead the annual and seasonal plans to optimise the operation by aligning resources to activity levels and meeting customer service needs to improve the overall warehouse performance.
Managing the warehouse centre of excellence
Develop and manage the overall warehouse budget and allocation of funds according to plan
Assess current warehouse solutions and develop new solutions with the aim of achieving continuous improvement.
Drive the Logistics digital transformation agenda by identifying and reviewing new digital solutions for implementation to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

A B.Com (Honors) or related B Degree (Business Management, Logistics or Transport),
A minimum 8 to 10 years' experience in logistics industry.
With 5 of those years in senior line management experience.
Experience in logistics and business software systems.
