Duties & Responsibilities_

Programming of welding robots.

Increase program efficiency if needed.

Ensure that robots are running at optimal capacity.

Follow production schedules to ensure programming is done for certain parts.

Run the program and check and monitor torches and readjust as needed.

Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine in a safe manner.

Troubleshoot part fit-up problems.

Ensure that all robots and robot equipment is maintained in good order and documented.

Ensure that health, safety and housekeeping standards are met throughout robotics department and where work is carried out.

Work in accordance with quality standards to ensure correct welding of components.

Provide support in the analysis and resolution of weld equipment failures.

_Desired Experience & Qualification_
Completed matric

Computer literate on MS Office

At least 3 years experience as Robot Setter/Programmer (essential)

2 or more year practical experience in the role of a Robot Programmer on Yaskawa/Motoman/Fanuc/ABB (essential)

Applicant must be able to start immediately or on short notice

Experience:

Robot Programming: 2 years (required)
