Well established food manufacturing company situated in Durban, is seeking to employ a Storeman to participate in warehouse operations and activities.


ONLY CANDIDATES FROM THE FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED SUCH AS RCL, UNILEVER, TIGER BRANDS ETC

Responsibilities:

The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction, labelling stock, stock control, packing stores.

  • Receive and check materials for correct type and quantity.
  • Report and expedite shortages.
  • Counter issues / unplanned issues.
  • Update stock control sheets and report variances.
  • Accurate control of paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate levels of stock at all times.
  • Perform any other jobrelated function as instructed by management.
  • Perform all tasks to satisfactory quality and time standards.
  • Ensuring stock is handled correctly
  • Ensure Monthly stock takes are executed accurately.
  • Ensuring correct documentation pertaining to stock control and customer returns are maintained.

Requirements:


  • Matric
  • 23 years' experience as a storeman within an FMCG/Manufacturing environment.
  • Be able to set priorities in line with the production schedule.
  • Must be methodical and consistently accurate.
  • Detailed stock count experience

Job Type:
Permanent


Salary:
R7, R10,000.00 per month
