The French Parfumerie seeks an on the ball, dynamic, and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team.Duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining existing client base of 500 stockists nationwide and acquire, negotiate and signon new stockists.
- Product knowledge and training, occasional travel for retailer visits.
- Direct sales (B2C) as well as B2B wholesale, distribution and online sales.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with established stockists and sourcing new ones (retailer visits, etc).
- Managing and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
- Sales projections/forecasting.
- Develop an understanding of clients' needs and researching the market and related products.
- Account/Relationship management and engagement.
- Managing and building relationships with sales agents.
- Increasing sales across the board through various marketing activities, is the main responsibilities of the position.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a qualification in Sales and/or Marketing
- Min 2 years in a similar role with management experience is essential
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Experience with any leading pharmacy groups is very advantageous.
- Own reliable transport.
- Eager to learn and grow.
- Likes to work in a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Very organised.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An interest and knowledge of photography and photographic equipment.
- A working knowledge of graphic design principles and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign).
