Description
The French Parfumerie seeks an on the ball, dynamic, and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team.


Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining existing client base of 500 stockists nationwide and acquire, negotiate and signon new stockists.
  • Product knowledge and training, occasional travel for retailer visits.
  • Direct sales (B2C) as well as B2B wholesale, distribution and online sales.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with established stockists and sourcing new ones (retailer visits, etc).
  • Managing and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Sales projections/forecasting.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' needs and researching the market and related products.
  • Account/Relationship management and engagement.
  • Managing and building relationships with sales agents.
  • Increasing sales across the board through various marketing activities, is the main responsibilities of the position.

Requirements:


  • Grade 12 plus a qualification in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Min 2 years in a similar role with management experience is essential
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Experience with any leading pharmacy groups is very advantageous.
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Eager to learn and grow.
  • Likes to work in a team.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Very organised.
  • Excellent communication skills.
We work in a highly creative environment, so knowledge and skills of the following will be a great advantage:

  • An interest and knowledge of photography and photographic equipment.
  • A working knowledge of graphic design principles and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign).
