Production Supervisor - Durban, South Africa - Fempower Personnel

A well-established company within the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Production Supervisor within the Factory to be based in the Durban area.
This role will be a permanent requirement. The successful incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the production manufacturing plant performance and factory personnel.The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include
- Complete housekeeping audit for plant
- Ensure machines are running
- Labour allocation according to production plan
- Supervision of staff ensuring maximum output
- Raw material control, packaging and pallets are available to limit production issues
- Record keeping of units, skinks, pallets produced and rejected products
- Record keeping of all incidents in shift log book
- Back flush all production daily
- Manage overtime
- Quality checks
- Risk Control, Safety Management
Qualification
- Matric
- Diploma / Degree in Operations Management or related field
Experience
- 4+ years' experience in an FMCG environment as a Supervisor
- Experience with ERP System SAP or MS Dynamics
- SAP Production knowledge
- Planning experience
- Plant Performance Management
- Personnel Supervision and related functions
- Experience allocating labour according to production plan and product priority
- Quality Checks
- Housekeeping
- Liaison between Management and Staff
