Responsibilities of the Job:

***Reporting to the Sales Executive, the incumbent will be responsible to carry out the sales and marketing functions of the company. He will be responsible for customer liaison, which includes product awareness, information, advice, services levels and problem solving.


Some of the responsibilities include:

Sales Functions:


  • Assist the Sales and Marketing Executive with the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing Executive with obtaining accurate forecasting from the customers.
  • Develop and maintain a client contact matrix with emphasis on key decision makers.
  • Develop and manage client visit schedule.
  • Actively seek new growth opportunities.
  • Liaise with customers on pricing issues.
  • Liaise with internal sales department to ensure service levels are continually improved.

Attend to customers sales needs with regards to:

  • Understand customers needs.
  • Inform customers of company product range.
  • Liaise and assist customers with technical advice.
  • Manage client relationships.
  • Offer any other technical support required by the customer.

Attend to customer service needs with regards to:

  • Arrange and attend monthly customer meetings.
  • Improve customer relations.
  • Manage customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Attend to the Customer Complaints raised against Company (NCR).
  • Create product awareness amongst customers.
  • Offer training to customers on all aspects of the product range.
  • Institute frequent meetings with customers training department to ensure training on the use of company products.

Marketing Department Functions:


  • Work closely with the Company Sales and Marketing Executive and his / her subordinates with regards to advising the customer correctly.
  • Attend customer meetings and site visits with the Sales and Marketing Executive as and when needed.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing Executive during Contract Review and issuing of Tenders.
  • Manage the planning and executing of exhibitions.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the exhibition displays.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing Executive with all marketing material.

Formal Training, Experience Required and Key Qualities:
***- Ability to promote and sell technical products.

  • Ability to deal with customers at various seniority levels.
  • Product knowledge

  • Knowledge of QA requirements and standards

  • Problem solving skills.
  • Sales and Marketing skills
- good, basic Microsoft office skills.
