ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY TECHNICAL SPECIALIST


Our client is seeking a highly experienced Environmental Specialist to focus on Strategic Plant Development especially within the electrical/solar sustainability.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive input through company programs, Zero Impact Factory, Decarbonisation and Environmental forums.
  • Tracking and improvement of all Environmental Sustainability and Zero Impact Factory key performance indicators
  • Ability to represent the company at Group Forums i.e. NGO's, CSIR, local municipality, etc. for benchmarking and info exchange.
  • Draft ES technical project briefs for in/external approval.
  • Technical assessment of quotes and suppliers
  • Inplant SME for ES measures
  • Provide expert input into strategy and KPI's
  • Assist in long term planning and roadmap development
  • Initiate long, mid and short term projects to fulfil KPI's
  • Budget input
  • Analyses trends, foresees problems, initiate's counter measures

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 to 10 years in manufacturing
  • National Diploma/Degree in Engineering (ideally Electrical) or related
  • Open to national and international travelling occasionally
