Introduction

Our client, a leading provider of integrated market access and supply chain logistics solutions based in Epping, Cape Town is looking for a Warehouse Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide strong leadership and make a significant contribution to our customer's supply chain through our unique processes and system, to improve speed and control at a lower cost and risk.
  • To lead a team of managers and employees providing logístical services in a warehouse environment.
  • To drive optimal productivity and goal achievement and to determine opportunities for cost reduction and general improvement.
  • To manage required Employee Relations initiatives and processes in order to ensure a stable work environment and a healthy organisational culture.
  • To conduct performance appraisals with staff and to determine training and development needs, including succession planning.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Advanced Diploma / Bachelors degree (NQF level 7 qualification).
  • Minimum of 8 years' Warehousing, Supply Chain, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years management or supervisory experience.
