Introduction

Role Purpose

  • To lead and manage the delivery of automated reporting solutions to internal and external clients that are in line with requirements, standards, and best practices.
  • To enable the provision of credible, timely and insightful reporting on strategic and operational performance, through:
  • Developing Dashboards, Scorecards, and Analytics
  • Implement controls and quality standards
  • Employ automation techniques and technology (RPA, ML, AI)
  • Enhance the ability to generate actionable insights

Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • Matric.
  • 3year Analytical Degree (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering) or Commercial (Accounting, Operations Management)
Experience
years in an Operational Environment at Leadership level (Operational knowledge & experience)

  • Developing Data Analysis and visualisation tools
  • Project Management (preferable)
  • Experience in Medical Scheme or Financial Services environment (preferable)

Duties & Responsibilities

Internal Process

  • Gather information from various sources, analyse results and interpret patterns and trends.
  • Once data has been gathered and interpreted, report back what has been found in an easily accessible and accurate manner, which supports consistent and informed operational, tactical and strategic business decisions.
  • Interact and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify data sources, find data definitions for master and meta data as well as formulate and implement solutions.
  • Promote the use of existing enterprise and divisional data standards to enhance data quality and ensure constant compliance and adherence to data governance principles.
  • Process live and confidential data according to specified guidelines.
  • Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems that could impact reporting and eventually business decisions.
  • Development and design of professional reports and dashboards to support various stakeholders within the company.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and its attribution to costs incurred by business.
  • Communicate progress, including easily understandable representation of the data.
  • Building models required for the business to guide business, including financial, decisions.
  • Perform analysis for business to give them a better understanding of relevant data/trends/behaviour.
  • Proactive in suggesting opportunities as well as making analytical observations on any aspect that would be beneficial to the business.
  • Delve for insights into data and processes to identify trends.
  • Manage business projects.

Client

  • Provide authoritative expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.
  • Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within the area of responsibility.
  • Participate and contribute to a culture that builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback, and provides exceptional client service.
