We are looking for 3 x IT coordinator a 6 month contract. Applicants must have a clear criminal record, have reliable car and must be available immediately.

Job Description,


Establish standards, procedures and do strategic planning
In depth understanding and support of the overall IT Strategy.


Support in the development, implementation and updating of IT plans, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines to meet the overall business objectives.


Ensure all IT requirements from the business areas are understood, budgeted for, and implemented in line with the overall IT Strategy and its Roadmap.


Understand the technological trends and initiatives from group IT, and propose solutions to business in conjunction with the relevant specialists.

Takes ownership of annual IT budget preparations for the respective business areas.

Ensure for the continuous availability and capacity planning of all IT solutions and technologies.

Effective implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Ensure optimal deployment and configuration of all IT technologies.

Responsible for the delivery of client service functions, including support for business development, quality of service and operations.

Works within a multi-vendor environment and manages these entities to provide effective services according to SLAs.


Administration and Execution
Ensures IT is actively involved with all IT and related initiatives from business.

Guide all departments at respective business areas of responsibility ensuring the IT policies and standards are adhered too.

Local IT projects are effectively managed and implemented according to group standards and guidelines.

Monitor and ensure the delivery of group IT services are according to standards and agreed to OLA's and SLA's.

Liaising with senior managers and IT professionals about technology issues and needs.

Effectively manage local IT resources.


Monitors project progress and expenditure to ensure that deadlines and specifications are met and that expenditure is within the set constraints.

Manage all escalated IT matters from all stakeholders from the respective business areas.

Manage and take responsibility for the overall remediations of all IT critical services disrupting incidents.

Designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation.

Scheduling and implementation of upgrades and patches.

Assists and provides guidance to various support teams, local and group-wide.

Asset management database to be accurately updated at all times.


Ensures all monitoring hardware and software systems are functional and an appropriate level of alerts and notifications implemented to resolve issues proactively.

Prepare and distribute monthly service, performance, and availability reports.


Budget and Cost Controls


Contributes to annual functional budget planning by providing input to operational, capex andlabour budgets for relevant business area and submits to line management for approval.


Implements and effectively manages the approved budget (operational, capex and labour),reports variances as required and recommends/implements remedial action within area ofcontrol.

Assesses/Reviews and authorises payments in line with approved budget and policy forprocessing.

Implements cost reduction initiatives.

Continually assesses, manages, and monitors financial risks within the IT department.


People Management
Conducts workforce planning to ensure team is suitably staffed to meet functional objectivesconsidering various internal and external factors.

Assists and guides on the hiring and development of the IT personnel.

Implements, drives and manages people development initiatives such as performance and skills management.

Plans, organises, leads and controls subordinates' activities to ensure functional objectives aremet or exceeded.

Ensures a stable employee relation by managing conflict and creating a positive workingenvironment.


Change Transformation and Process Optimisation


Identifies and recommends initiatives aimed at eliminating waste, improving productivity and reducing operating costs within scope and assists with the implementation thereof to contribute to the achievement of operational objectives.

Supports and participates in change management initiatives to drive transformation and optimisation.


Stakeholder Relations
Builds, supports and maintains healthy diverse internal and external relations and implements remedial actions where required.

Provides relevant support to stakeholders to ensure team objectives are achieved.


Safety, Health, Environment and Risk
Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.

Participates in regular safety meetings and make recommendations to ensure overall safety.

Performs regular inspections in area of work and report hazards to ensure environment is safety and hazard free and recommends remedial action where nece
