Summary of Responsibilities:

Technical

  • Overall responsibility for the administration of the Groups various funding vehicles and project companies, including accounting, legal, financial, insurance and tax.
  • Manage and enforce various project, corporate and finance legal agreements.
  • Manage construction drawdowns from debt and equity providers.
  • Manage timely debt repayments and equity distributions.
  • Report to various shareholders and lenders on construction and operational assets.
  • Assess a range of commercial, financial, environmental, social and economic and technical issues, and take/ensure that necessary actions are taken.
Administrative/Operational

  • Manage a large number of legal and compliance matters on various projects and project companies.
  • Ensure financial covenants on various finance agreements are met.
  • Interpret and maintain complex project finance models.
  • Report to various shareholders and lenders on construction and operational assets.
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of project companies and holding companies.
  • Coordinate audits of project companies and funding vehicles.
  • Drive operational efficiency of projects and business processes.
Interpersonal

  • Ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage communications between various departments and external service providers (LTA/LLA, auditors, secretarial, etc) during construction and operation of plants.
  • Lead small but growing Asset Management team.
  • Present results to shareholders/directors in a concise and well considered manner at board meetings.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Legal or Engineering Degree with advanced solar and/or wind knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure asset management environment with exposure to project financed deals.
  • Experience as an asset manager within Renewable Energy would be highly advantageous.
  • Must be fully proficient in English (verbal and written communication)
  • Must be fully computer literate (MS Office Suite and Google App Suite)
