Well-established packaging manufacturer is looking to employ a Maintenance Manager to be fully responsible for all equipment maintenance at their plant in Brits.


For the position you would be required to have:

  • Must have Grade 12/ Matric with Maths
  • Minimum of N3 in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
  • Trade Tested Artisan (Millwright, Fitter & Turner)
  • Minimum of 6 years maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastics
  • Proven ability to manage maintenance teams.
  • Injection moulding experience will be preferred.
  • Toolmaking experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities would include you to:


  • Managing projects
  • Staff and resource management
  • SHEQ and HR management
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Preventative maintenance schedules and managing schedules
  • Management reporting and other administrative functions
  • Contractor management
