Reservationist - Hotel - Cape Town


Qualifications & Requirements:


  • ResRequest or similar reservations system

Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years' experience.
  • ResRequest (or similar reservations system) experience essential
Package

  • Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references

Duties/Responsibilities:


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • To deal with reservation enquiries, bookings, deposits, cancellations, confirmations, pro-forma's
etc. procedure

  • To deal with the waitlists and complimentary reservations as per procedure
  • To ensure that provisional bookings are followed up
  • Check for double bookings
  • Maximise occupancy with liaison of the reservationists, Reservations Manager and the General Manager
  • Maintain good relations with all other departments
  • Balance occupancies daily
  • Ensure that all filing is up to date
  • Maintain guest history as per procedure
  • Ensure credit policy is adhered to
  • Follow up on travel agent voucher correspondence and other documentation that might be
outstanding

  • Ensure the smooth running of the reservations department
  • Check arrivals
  • Check groups check payment received
  • Daily reports to be completed and sent to accordingly
  • Check up on no shows and
