Procurement Data Analyst


Permanent Role

Centurion Location

Experience: 2 - 3 years
Hybrid Work Model: 1 day in the office per week

MUST HAVE ACTUARIAL DEGREE (Also accepting BAcc, BSc, or any Mathematical Degree)

Requirements:
  • 2+ years in Short-term Insurance
  • 2+ years in MS Excel & SQL
  • Proficiency in business management, supply chain, and strategic sourcing

Role Purpose

The Procurement Data Analyst analyzes and interprets complex data sets, supporting business decisions by liaising with internal departments and suppliers. Responsibilities include analyzing product samples, negotiating procurement contracts, and developing innovative procurement approaches.

Responsibilities and Work Outputs
  • Determine supply needs and research suppliers
  • Communicate pricing and performance needs to vendors
  • Build strong relationships with management
  • Document product features and benefits
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports
  • Negotiate procurement contracts
  • Document processes and generate supply cost reports
  • Monitor product demand
  • Stay updated on industry vendor activities

Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
